Contemporary, yet sympathetic extension to this 18th Century locally listed ranger's house. Planning consent for the demolition and replacement of the poorly functioning conservatory and the reconfiguration of the internal circulation and sleeping space was obtained, in excess of Green Belt policy, in close consultation with the local authority.

Open London's proposal contrasted with the original historic building, but was considered an effective means of preserving the integrity and legibility of the original structure.
